PRN Water Services Ltd. will be a "controller" of the personal information that you provide to us when you instruct us to act on your behalf unless otherwise stated in this privacy notice.
When you become a client of PRN Water Services Ltd, we will collect, store and use the personal information that you provide to us in your instructions and during the course of our service provider / customer relationship. We may ask you for additional personal information during the course of our service provider / customer relationship, which shall be collected, stored and used in accordance with this privacy notice.
We also collect, store and use personal information relating to you such as name, phone number, correspondence address, rental property address, email address, etc. when you become our customer from referrers such as estate agents, solicitors and accountants etc.

Why we need your personal information – contractual purposes
We need to collect our customer’s personal information so that we can perform our contract with you. We will use our customer’s personal information to:

Issue you with receipts and/or invoices and the final test result certificate

Visit your property (if required and pre-approved) to collect sample; and

respond to and communicate with clients regarding your questions, comments, support needs or complaints, concerns or allegations in relation to our complaints and disciplinary procedures, for example, we will use your personal information to investigate your complaint, take disciplinary action, etc
Failure to provide data
If you do not provide us with all of the personal information that we need to collect eg for carrying out our sample testing, then this may affect our ability to provide you with complete results.
Why we need your personal information – legitimate interest purposes
We also process our customer’s personal information in pursuit of our legitimate interests to:

promote our services by sending our customer communications in relation to other services that we may provide in the future;

Your personal information is stored only on our electronic filing system and our servers based in the UK, and is accessed by our staff for the purposes set out above.
